Periodicity
Periodicity refers to a repeating pattern in a time series at regular intervals, such as daily, monthly, or quarterly.
It informs how date intervals are interpreted, how filters behave, and how offsets are calculated. Recognizing periodicity also improves forecasting and helps detect anomalies.
